Japanese film maestro Kore–eda Hirohazu (NOBODY KNOWS, STILL WALKING) creates another masterpiece with this lighthearted yet sensitive depiction of childhood innocence and ingenuity. Without cloying sentimentality, the film tells of two preteen brothers who plot to reunite their estranged parents. The brothers are delightfully played by real-life siblings Maeda Ohshiro and Maeda Koki, a successful standup comedy duo in their native Japan.
