The film spent 11 weeks at #1 at the U.S. box office and became the highest grossing film of 1985. Over 25 years after it originally played in theatres, BACK TO THE FUTURE will make its exclusive return to the big screen at Consolidated Ward 16 through the Hana Hou Picture Show retro film series. The film has been digitally remastered and will be playing on Honolulu’s biggest movie screen, TitanXC.

After the huge response at the 25th Anniversary Presentation of TOP GUN in May, Consolidated Theatres decided to launch a retro film series that is programed by their fans and customers.
